Sélim Rharbaje is a guitarist from the south of France, awarded by the Toulon Conservatory in jazz and contemporary amplified music. He is also a graduate of the Music Academy International (M.A.I) in Nancy and the Higher Institute of Musical Education in Aix-en-Provence.

Throughout his career, he has performed both on stage and in the studio alongside numerous artists, including Amandine Bourgeois, Amaury Vassili, Ricky Martin, and Bernard Lavilliers.

Currently, he is working on the latest Pixar/Disney show “Together” while continuing to accompany artists such as François Feldman and S’Live Band.

Sébastien Markezana has been a professional bassist and double bassist for over 15 years. His musical journey began in 1995 in Marseille, where he started playing bass in garages at the age of 17. Quickly integrating various original bands, primarily in metal fusion, he soon participated in numerous concerts and competitions.

In 2000, he collaborated for a year with Lyrical Lab Studio, recording bass tracks for Mino, Soprano, and other key artists from the Marseille hip-hop scene of the time, including the “Projet Ares” compilation album. From 2001 to 2002, he studied music at IMFP, a renowned jazz school.

In 2003, he moved to Copenhagen, where he became a professional musician. For seven years, he was a resident bassist in a local pub, playing a wide variety of music styles and collaborating regularly with talented musicians from the Danish scene.

Sébastien has contributed to numerous albums, including:

  • Jean Paul Espinosa (The Voice DK 2012)
  • Alain Apaloo (Api Pipo – World Music Album of the Year 2009)
  • Sahra Da Silva (Talent DK 2010)
  • Deodato Siquir, among others.

Returning to Marseille in 2010, he joined Cédric B, under the Saison 13 label, touring and recording a new album in 2016. Since then, he has played with many regional artists, including:

  • Atef (The Voice 2012)
  • Akram (The Voice 2014)
  • Kams, Willy Caïd, World Jam Experiment, Laurent Nadal, Oliver Campana, and many more.

A sought-after session musician, Sébastien has contributed to numerous studio recordings and is highly active in the live event scene, performing hundreds of concerts with some of the best musicians in the region.

Notably, he has also performed alongside Daniel Levi.

For many years, he has performed as a pianist, musical director, and conductor. He frequently collaborates with renowned artists such as Thomas Leleu (winner of the Victoires de la Musique), for whom he produced three albums, and singer Daniel Lévi, whose self-titled album he arranged and produced. His versatility has also led him to work with various ensembles, including the Marseille Philharmonic Orchestra, jazz trios, gospel choirs, and big bands.

His compositions, reflecting his diverse journey, transcend musical styles and genres with ease and sincerity. This is evident in his works for the Démos Orchestras, commissioned by the Philharmonie de Paris, as well as in children’s tales like mélom@net, published by Lemoine, and the songs he has written for various artists.

After moving to France, he quickly collaborated with renowned artists such as Emmanuel Djob, Yohan Fréget, Marianne Aya Omac, Fred Lewin, Gerald Toto, Rhoda Scott, Francis Lalanne, Henry Dikongué, Fethi Tabet, Malik Young, Beta Simon, Manu Dibango, and choreographer Salia Sanou.

Beyond his musical practice, Elvis also pursued training to deepen his expertise in sound engineering, particularly in audio mixing and sound design. This technical mastery is subtly reflected in his musical creations, where his arrangements and immersive soundscapes add a unique dimension to his work.
